Nathan, McDowell & Rose contacted us for marketing strategy, positioning, naming and brand identity development. As a specialized recruiting firm, NMR knows who’s who in the industry and forges strong relationships with these individuals. We developed the positioning statement, ‘I know people.’ as a double entendre to describe who they know in the industry, as well as NMR’s understanding (knowledge) of psychology of people’s decision-making process. This statement, I know people, supported by the identity, differentiates NMR in their industry. Plus, Mr. Nathan has that Jersey accent and the words just seems to roll of his tongue.

The brand identity brings a clean/retro look, as we introduced a character who is both friendly and eager to do business. The green spirals and flowers identify with the creative types in the motion picture industry. This gives NMR a corporate name for an established tone, mixed with a contemporary look, to appeal to their industry of creatives and ad agency types. The brand was applied to the stationery package and web site.
